Downlights

Professional LED downlights are the workhorses of commercial ambient lighting. They sit in the ceiling plane, deliver controlled directional light, and — when specified correctly — disappear into the architecture. Our range is curated for commercial fitouts and high-end residential projects across Sydney and greater Australia: A-grade office floors, retail, hospitality, medical and dental clinics, and owner-occupier homes where the lighting has to match the build quality.

The catalogue spans fixed and adjustable (gimbal) formats in recessed, surface-mounted, and pendant-style housings. All are available in 2700K through 4000K options, with CRI 90+ on the premium tiers, and in multiple beam angles from 15° tight-beam accent to 60° broad wash. Drivers support DALI, 0–10V, and phase dimming, and most housings are rated IC-F (can be covered with insulation) — required under AS/NZS 3000 for Australian ceilings.

Choosing the right downlight

• Beam angle — narrower beams (15–25°) for accent and display, wider beams (40–60°) for general ambient illumination
• Colour temperature — 2700K for hospitality and residential warmth, 3000K for most premium commercial, 4000K for clinical and retail
• CRI — aim for 90+ in retail, hospitality, and medical spaces where colour accuracy matters
• Dimming — confirm driver compatibility with your control protocol before ordering; DALI is the standard for most new commercial builds
• IC-F rating — mandatory in Australian ceilings with insulation; all our professional downlights meet this standard
